The children lost their father in 2012 after he was killed by a bomb on his way to work. It was the 25th of January, 2013, and their mother Najah was pregnant with her fifth child.
Even as bombings intensified, Najah and her children remained in their home until after she gave birth four months later. The turning point was seeing their neighbors killed in the destruction.
The family is stuck, in need of financial support, clothing, and housing. Najah said she Imagines one day returning to her village and rebuild her home.
