Khawla Khalf Alhowaisan and her three children, Yazan (3), Nourhan (7), and Abdulsalm (6) fled to Lebanon after their home near the airport in Tabaka, Syria was destroyed by ISIS.
Now living in a tent in Beqaa Valley, Khawla’s husband, Ibrahim, has hopes of one day establishing a market stall to earn money for the family.
Their primary needs include surgery for Khawla as she struggles with pregnancy issues, food, clothes, and education for their children.
The family’s ultimate goal is to return to Syria, and rebuild their home. The children said they have dreams: learning english, becoming a driver, becoming a teacher, and aspiring to become a ‘good man”.
