Ali Ibrahim (4 months) in his mother’s arms in a refugee camp in Lebanon.
“The main reason that led us to flee our home is the lack of food and means of living. We were living in a siege between the regime and the Free Army in our village in Aleppo. We couldn’t go outside, starvation was everywhere and people started killing each other just to get a bag of bread. One night my husband and his brothers brought a bus and he ‘told us hurry up, we are leaving to Lebanon tonight’. We came to Lebanon and we settled in a camp in West Bekaa just like other families.”
Now the family is especially concerned about Ali and their inability to afford milk for him.
