Ahmed (7) and Muhammed (8) are from Aleppo, Syria but fled to Istanbul, Turkey after their father was killed by a sniper. Their mother, Isptisam (44), has proven resourceful borrowing, picking up work in care while volunteering with collectives, though, her greatest needs remain sustaining food and shelter, keeping her kids in school and helping to support the day-to-day medical concerns of her own mother, Aysha (75), who suffers from epilepsy. Entirely unsustainable, the family is falling deeper into debt by the day.
Given a suitable opportunity, Isptisam said she would like to find a long term position in childcare. young Ahmed said he dreams of becoming part of a sports club and Mohammed wants to become a magician.
